By Road: Cheverton Farm is approximately 1 mile from Shorwell on the Bowcombe Road (the road between Carisbrooke and Shorwell). As you approach the top of Cheverton Shute, you will see event signage and traffic marshals. Please follow all instructions issued by the marshals to ensure an efficient traffic flow in and out of the site.
By Bus: No.12 bus stops directly outside Cheverton Farm.
Scroll down for a Google Map of the location.
Ample parking is provided on-site. Access to the site is via a gravel access road which is uneven in places, and the parking area is on grassland that is again uneven in places. The area is extremely well drained and so is suitable for almost any vehicle. Please follow all instructions issued by the traffic marshals.
All participants are invited to wild-camp on-site. Please note: The camping facilities are extremely basic, there is no running water or consumer electricity available for campers. There are two composting toilets on-site that are open 24 hours a day.
Event Entry Costs
Each event is individually priced.
Spectators are welcome and we hope to encourage as many to attend as possible to add to the atmosphere of the event. Spectators can watch the events from any vantage point on the site.
You will be issued with a participant number once you have registered and signed in at race control on the day of your event. You must display your race number clearly on your chest. If you enter the event before the day (saving yourself some money in the process) you will just need to sign in on the day, which will save you some time.
Food and drink
There will be an onsite caterer providing hot food, as well as a range of snacks and hot and cold beverages.
Safety is our priority. There will be marshals stationed around the course should you require any assistance.
There will be a medical team on-site for the duration of the event, with a command centre adjacent to race control and members equipped with all terrain vehicles giving access to the entire site.
There will be toilets on-site, based near to race control.
